Located at the yolo county animal shelter in Woodland
4 puppy babies were found on the side of the road this week next to their dead mother, who was likely hit by a car. We honor their mother’s memory by taking care of these pups until they find loving forever homes.
The shorter their stay at the shelter, the better. They need love, structure, and a home to be set up for success. They are around 12 weeks old and at the perfect age to begin socializing them.
We think they are German Shepherd mixes, potentially mixed with a livestock guardian due to their large size at such a young age (one of them is already 36 lbs!). Please note that puppies are a lifetime commitment and require extra work up front to ensure they grow into the wonderful companions they are meant to be.
Help keep their shelter stay as short as possible and schedule an appointment to adopt one at yoloshelter.org/dogs
They will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Adoption fee is $50, waived for veterans.
