Located at the Yolo County Animal Shelter in Woodland
This 2-year-old pup is mostly pittie but has a splash of Catahoula leopard dog, resulting in an incredibly stunning merle coat. He always looks serious in his pictures but he’s a total lovebug.
He’s basically a big baby looking for a home that appreciates a serious cuddler. He is also very smart and already knows so many tricks thanks to the special attention and training from his favorite volunteers at the shelter! He would likely do best in a home with older kids (12+ years) or dog-savvy younger kids, and has potential to live with a chill medium-large dog.
Carrot was previously adopted but had to be returned in November due to incompatibility with cats 😢 Since he’s such a great dog we figured he’d be scooped by someone else quickly…but he’s still here with no interest from adopters 💔
🥕Give Carrot a chance — it’s good for you! We have a lot of appointment openings and walk-ins are Friday-Saturday 11-3. Come by and see all the tricks he knows!
