🐾 Meet Dolly! 🐾
This beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd landed at the Yolo County Animal Shelter back in April after being found as a stray in Winters. Since then, she’s been winning hearts with her sweet, playful spirit.
At the shelter, Dolly is all about fun. She loves to “fence run” with her dog friends but she’s not a fan of going back to the kennel.
On a recent day trip, we learned Dolly hasn’t had much exposure to everyday things. She’s was nervous on leash and hesitant to go indoors but with the help of a dog buddy, she slowly opened up, explored a backyard and even ventured inside the house.
Dolly’s looking for a special someone, an experienced, patient adopter who can help her build confidence at her own pace. A calm dog sibling would be a big plus (dog to dog is required).
Smart + treat-motivated = training superstar in the making! She already knows “sit,” “down,” “leave it,” and “find it”…she’s ready to learn more with the right person by her side.
-Spayed
-Microchipped
-Up to date on vaccines
-Adoption fee: $50 (waived for veterans!)
Ready to be Dolly’s hero? Let’s give this girl the loving home she deserves. Message me for info or visit the shelter webpage at https://www.yoloshelter.org/dogs for information.
